Their penchant for clickbait headlines, left-wing perspectives, sloppy journalism, Twitter/X, and social media news sources exposes their motives as little more than desperate muckraking chasing eyeballs for ad revenues. But I often wonder, what sort of stories would CNN have published if the network had been around in 1941?
Imagine the impact of CNN's coverage on historical events like the German concentration camps in WWII. How would their reporting have shaped our understanding?
It's almost ironic how a parody I created a few years ago, meant to poke fun at sensationalist journalism, has now become a reality.
